National Nurses Week-May 6 to MAY 12

LAUSD School Nursing Services is a vital part of student academic success and achievement. We integrate our services with our Student Health and Human Services (SHHS) colleagues and partners-Pupil Services, School Mental Health and Student Medical Services-and with Special Education services providers, allowing all students equal opportunity to actively participate and contribute to their academic program.

May is National Mental Health Awareness Month- During this month; there is a focus on increasing the awareness about mental health, promoting well-being, and fighting the stigma of mental illness as well as mental health treatment.
