STUDENT SUCCESS STATEMENT (THEODORE ROOSEVELT)

STUDENT SUCCESS STATEMENT
“IN ANY MOMENT OF DECISION, THR BEST THING YOU CAN DO ID THE RIGHT THING”
-THEODORE ROOSEVELT

THIS QUOTE REALLY STATES A POINT FROM THEODORE ROOSEVELT THAT ALL THE TIME WHEN YOU HAVE TO MAKE A DECISION ABOUT SOMETHING IT SHOULD ONLY BE THE RIGHT THING. AND TO FOLLOW THAT ITS BEST IF YOU CHOOSE THE RIGHT.MAKING GOOD DECISIONS EVERY DAY HELPS YOU A LOT AND GETS YOU OF TROUBLE. AN EXAMPLE THAT HAPPENES TO ME ON APRIL 28 2015 ON TUESDAY. IT WAS MY FATHER IN LAW MY SISTER IN LAW AND ME IN MY BOYFRIENDS TRUCK, AND WE WERE STUCK BECAUSE THE TRASH TRUCK WAS ON THE WAY, ON OUR WAY TO TURN WE NOTICE THAT THERE WAS A TRUCK WANTING TO RACE. AND THE CAR HAD MADE A HARD TURN THAT BURNED RUBBER BUT HE DIDN’T NOTICE THAT HE WAS CHOOSING THE WRONG SO WHAT HAPPENED HE GOT PULLED OVER BY A HIGH WAY POTROAL CARAND HE GOT A TICKET. WE DIDN’T END UP RACING THAT GUY BECAUSE FIRST IT WASN’T THRE RIGHT THING TO DO , SECOND SOMEONE COULD HAVE GOT KILLED EITHER SOMEONE THAT WAS CROSSING THE STREET OR ON OF US IS WE HAD GOTTEN INTO A CARCRASH. WE DID THE RIGHT THING AT THAT MOMENT BECAUSE WE COULD HAVE EASLIY GOT PULLED OVER AND RUINED MY BOYFRIENDS BIRTHDAY PARTY. THAT’S WHY LIKE THEODORE ROOSEVELT SAYS “IN ANY MOMENT OF DECISION, THR BEST THING YOU CAN DO ID THE RIGHT THING” AND I AGREE WITH HIM.

western oregon 2/2

What I seen in the video of the western Oregon was that they had good sportsmanship and they all worked together to help Sara finish the home run. That was what she had always wanted but then she had injured her acl so she had help from Liz and Mallory from the different team.  Liz and Mallory helped Sara finish the home run by carrying her helping her touch the bases. That’s was very emotional to the coaches and to myself as well because that was a lot of team work not everyone who plays a sport thinks like Liz and Mallory did.

“It’s a great moment when someone has character to step up and do the right thing at the right time.”
                               -Pam Knox
Image result for pam knoxWhat I understand from this quote is that when you see some one lacking not doing good they should step up and do what’s right at the same extent. They should change at the moment and solve of stop doing things that shouldn’t be done before is to late and they wont be able to face the consequences. Doing the right thing at the right time is very important an example if someone looses there money and you got it but you didn’t return it and then you give it back like hours later they are going to look at you in a wrong way because they might think you are a thief. You would look like you are not an honest person.  Its better to turn the money or anything that’s isn’t yours before people think wrong in you. With this set this is why I believe this quote is very good by Pam Knox.

"a promise must never be broken"
Alexander Hamilton

what i believe this statement means is that the biggest thing that should never ever be broken is a promise. if you cant keep a promise you shouldn't even commit to it. breaking a promise is like lieing to yourself harshly.

“What you see is what you get “
-anonymous
What this quote explains is that what you see yourself pursuing in life is what you going to become. So if you are a person with bad habits and violent the only place you might be seen yourself often in in jail. What you want to see in yourself is what you are going to be , another example is that If you see yourself with a good future and see yourself success then you are going to have a good life choosing the right. Choosing the right is a good thing because it can build the way you see yourself in a few years. If you dream big then big things would come your way but if not then what do you expect to get in return.

“Goodness is the only investment that never fails”
- Henry David Thoreau
I believe this is a good quote from Henry David Thoreau  because the most important thing in live you can invest in some one or share with so one or one another is Goodness . Goodness gives you open doors to good things. How do you know if you have goodness in you well ask yourself am I choosing the right am I being an honest person do I respect myself and others, am I kind safe and responsible if you say yes then know that you have goodness in you. Goodness comes in you!
